eSeeker Uganda is an education organisation that provides vocational education and training in Uganda. All our courses integrate the basics of ICT for development and eLearning. The organisation provides quality education through the most affordable and accessible means possible through life long learning to create quality workforce.
There is a common assumption that to obtain a job we ought to prepare all our children for universities to attain degrees. Students who do not make it to universities and higher institutions are judged failures. In the Ugandan Communities white-collar jobs are considered the best choice. To make vocational and technical skills attractive to the youth and women changing of the mind set is a very important aspect that eSeeker is addressing.
The number of students not able to join universities and other higher institutions at every end of an academic year is growing. eSeeker attempts to provide alternatives of employable and productive skills that match the demand of the industries and employers in numerous fields. Our approach leans on that training that uses problem based learning, using ICT as a tool and action learning.
